Daria's Home Birth
It was a cold Sunday morning, on March 31, that I witnessed a truly beautiful home birth, surrounded by 7
amazing women, including midwife Jutta from Fødero. That moment after birth, that pure elation, followed by
stillness. That powerful realisation of the baby you carried for 9
months being now "on the outside!", as Daria proclaimed.
I have known Daria now for a couple of years. We met for the first time when we both stood up in a small cafe in Kongsberg, at a Pecha Kucha gathering, to talk about our art. We have been friends since.
I have included a few photos of her pregnancy shoot with her first born Leon.
